Biography & Research Abstract

Abstract:

With our current work we are looking to create a general framework for annotated skeleton guided motion planning that is modular and object oriented. This should not only immensely reduce the planning complexity but also make it possible to adaptively guide the planning process in a heterogeneous environment by biasing on various metrics as changes occur in the environment. This would even allow us to use different metrics to guide different parts of our planning or use multiple metrics in conjunction without the need to resample or reconfigure.

Bio:

I am a rising Junior in computer Engineering looking to pursue a PhD. My interests range from Computer Architecture and Systems to Robotics and Artificial Intelligence. I have some experience in computational phylogenetics which I have previously worked on under Professor Tandy Warnow. Currently, I am working on motion planning in Dr Amato's lab. More specifically, I am doing work on annotated skeleton guided Motion Planning.
