Circular bioeconomy of the Americas is introduced at COP 28 as a production model in harmony with nature

Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture- CS professor John Reid and fellow experts discussed the importance of the circular bioeconomy on December 6, 2023 at the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28) in Dubai. Circular economy involves optimizing production systems by reusing waste, recycling, applying good water management practices, employing regenerative practices, and manufacturing biomaterials, which contribute to both climate change mitigation and adaptation.
