How did I get interested in Computer Science?
Growing up, I loved solving puzzles and learning to code to create impactful tools. Embracing creativity while creating computer programs, I find a reflection of my rational self!

Ethical computing, net neutrality, access to education, diversity in computing

Research Description
I'm a member of the Parasol Planning lab's open sourcing team, where I contribute to the validation of motion planning algorithms and innovate solutions to enhance solutions to existing motion planning challenges.

Biography
Shreya Vinjamuri is a junior majoring in computer science at UIUC. Her passion lies at the intersection of technology and social impact, where she strives to leverage computing for the greater good. With an interest in artificial intelligence, robotics, motion planning, data science, and fintech, she is committed to making a meaningful impact. On campus, she is pursuing her Leadership Certificate and an active member of Women in Computer Science. Beyond that, she is dedicated to fostering diversity and inclusivity in the field by engaging in weekly outreach initiatives to empower underrepresented communities in computer science. She is excited about the potential of technology to create positive change and is actively seeking avenues to channel her enthusiasm and skills into meaningful projects.
