What are your interests within computer science?
I started with really enjoying Computer Vision, but lately I have been gravitating towards building web applications.
How did you get interested in Computer Science?
Totally by accident. I volunteered to help my team with some data analysis using python, and quickly got pulled into the deep end of things. After the initial hesitancy, I started enjoying working with data and using outcomes to inform policy decisions.
What social interests matter to you?
What is your most impactful iCAN experience?
Being able to gain enough competence in less than two semesters to work on a research project with a faculty member running complex SQL queries on huge databases. That was a totally transformational experience that gave me confidence to move onto bigger (and better!) things.
What are your hobbies/outside interests?
Biking, reading, mindfulness, and lately, swimming!
