Biography & Research Abstract

Abstract:

Create a congestion control testbed such that a congestion control algorithm researcher could plug in a protocol, run one command and get a suite of emulated tests across different network parameters

Bio:

My name is Wei Shen and I’m a rising senior in Mathematics & Computer Science from UIUC. My current interest is in network system. This summer I’ll work under Professor Godfrey along with his PhD William on TCP congestion control and its testbed. I’m also interested in math-related fields such as analysis and graph theory. A potential field I want to explore right now is algorithmic game theory. In my spare time, I like playing basketball and guitar. I enjoy rock music as well as art films.
