Biography & Research Abstract
Design a gripper that can grasp and hold a cloth, dispense a desired cleaning agent, and discard used cloths, with procedures and supplies chosen to be compatible with CDC guideline. The gripper’s fingers will be constructed with soft materials that are compliant to wrap around thin objects, like railings and IV bag stands, as well as flat surfaces like hospital bed surfaces and counters.
I am an incoming Junior in Mechanical Engineering interested in exploring the intersection of the fields of engineering and computer science through robotics. After graduating I aim to pursue a graduate degree with a focus in control systems.
