Bio:

Hello! I graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2020 with a Bachelor in Political Science and minor in Linguistics. I discovered my fascination in computer science late into my undergraduate career via my web-design and video game hobbies, CS classes, HackIllinois, and other engineering events. I challenged the "It's too late for me" mindset and decided to follow my bliss. I applied to the UIUC Illinois Computing Accelerator for Non-Specialists (iCAN) program to gain strong fundamentals in CS that will prepare me for a Master of Computer Science (MCS) and a career in engineering. In my final semester of iCAN, I plan to complete my research in artificial intelligence and robotics under the guidance of Dr. Nancy Amato. I look forward to growing intellectually, professionally, and personally throughout my REU experience.
