Section Description

Advanced computational topics in robotics A graduate survey course on robotics, focusing on mathematic foundations, algorithms, machine learning, and integrating software and hardware systems. Lecture topics will include physics simulation, collision checking, motion planning, probabilistic filtering and tracking, 3D perception, and robot learning. Students will read current academic papers and carry out a semester-long, team-based project. Special restrictions: no limits on CS and non-CS enrollment. Prerequisite CS 225.
