Research Statement
I am interested in studying design, algorithmic, implementation, and experimentation issues for large-scale distributed systems such as clouds, peer-to-peer systems, Grids and sensor networks. I lead the Distributed Protocols Research Group (DPRG: http://dprg.cs.uiuc.edu), where we work on creative and innovative ideas in probabilistic protocols, design methodologies, management and monitoring, nature-inspired distributed computing, and many other exciting topics.
